Bicycle parts innovator Bernhard Rohloff passes away aged 73

FULDATAL, Germany – The founder of Rohloff GmbH and developer of the ‘Rohloff S-L-T 99’ derailleur bicycle chain and the Speedhub 14-speed IHG, Bernhard Rohloff, has died aged 73. It was thanks to his technical innovations that gearbox equipped bicycles were able to establish themselves in the field of sporting use.
